Manuela Gonzales is a 71 year old co-worker whom I have
known for several years. She started going through menopause since her late 50’s.
In the beginning the hot flashes were okay but as years went by they became
more aggressive. They started affecting
her activities of daily living and became noticeable. Cold climates didn’t make
a difference she still would have hot flashes. The one thing that made her
decide it was time to get some medicine was not sleeping well at night. The hot
flashes had taken over her sleep habits and kept her from sleeping. Because of
that she was not getting enough rest to perform 100% at work. Going through
menopause was getting the best of her. She decided to go to the doctor and find
out what the best option was for her. She has been taking Premarin for over 15
years and don’t have to worry about sleepless nights anymore. With any other
drug she says have side effects but it’s nothing compared to what she’s had to
deal with in the past.
